Montengro is located less then one hour's drive from Dubrovnik.
After crossing the border we will drive around the spectacular Bay of Kotor which is deeply carved in to the Montenegrian mountains offering unforgettable
scenery. We will pass along charming settlements such as Risan and Perast before arriving to Kotor where we will make a stop to admire the old town and the Medieval fortifications.
Our trip takes us further up the mountains on the old road towards Cetinje, once the seat of the Montenegrian
rulers. There will be a stop halfways in the small village of Njeguši where you will have the chance to taste some of the famous local specialities (smoked ham, cheese and honey wine-not included).
In Cetinje there will be a visit to the State Museum, formerly the Palace of the Montenegrian King Nikola.
The drive continues on the new road down to the town of Budva where we will make our last stop before continuing back to
Dubrovnik. The drive back will be pleasantly shortened by a ferry ride across the bay.
