Silk, the fabric that makes it's own statement. No other fabric generates quite the same
reaction. For centuries silk has had a reputation as a luxurious
fabric, associated with wealth and success. In Konavle, near
Dubrovnik, women keep the tradition of small, non profitable ancient handicraft of silk
production. Take an opportunity to share an experience of producing a silk thread in the most traditional
manner. You will take part in the whole process: cocoon
boiling, thread reeling, dyeing, plying, reeling, weaving,
embroidering etc.
